My two cents: some men did the work, reflected, and healed—only to be broken again by someone who hadn't done theirs. Eventually, you just run out of healing potions. :)

That doesn't justify passing the trauma along. But as someone who did all the work only to be undone by someone who hadn't, I’ve reached a point where I’m simply no longer willing to risk another heartbreak. This isn't about men or women; it's about people refusing to fix themselves before involving someone else and continuing a toxic cycle.
