What’s up, my beautiful solo mom tribe?
Whew, it’s been a minute, huh? Life’s been life-ing, and let me tell you, your girl needed a breather. But I’m back, and I’m so ready to kick off 2025 with y’all.
First of all, if you’re here reading this—thank you. Seriously. It means the world to me that you’re still rocking with The Solo Mom Life.
Can I keep it real? Last year tried to take me out. Between juggling life as a solo working mom, a very traumatic relationship experience, and just trying to keep my edges intact, I had to sit myself down and say, “Sis, rest is not a luxury—it’s a requirement.”
So, if you’ve been feeling the same way, let me tell you: it’s okay to pause. It’s okay to let things go for a little while. And it’s definitely okay to come back stronger.
In spite of all that happened last year, I’m feeling the best I’ve ever felt in my life.
It’s a New Year, Baby!
Alright, 2025, what’s good? This is our year to glow up, show up, and love on ourselves like never before. I’m talking about:
• Reclaiming our time.
• Protecting our peace.
• Walking into every room (or PTA meeting) like we deserve to be there—because we do.
This year, The Solo Mom Life is all about YOU. I want this blog to feel like your safe space. A place where we can keep it 100 about the struggles, but also hype each other up for the wins—big or small.
Here’s What I’ve Got Coming Up
I’ve got some exciting stuff coming your way:
1. Real-Life Hacks: From managing your budget to mastering the art of doing it all without losing your mind, I’m sharing the gems.
2. Solo Mom Spotlights: Because we all need a reminder that we’re out here crushing it—even when it doesn’t feel like it.
3. Travel Vibes: Listen, I know getting away might seem impossible, but I’m here to show you how to make it happen without breaking the bank.
4. Love and Dating: Whether you’re ready to jump back into the dating pool or just thinking about it, we’re breaking down everything—from finding the courage to put yourself out there to navigating love as a solo mom. No shame, no judgment, just straight forward talk about what it means to find (and keep) the love you deserve. Even if it’s from you to you.
A Special Announcement: My New Book is Coming Soon!
I’ve got something BIG to share with you. For the past few months, I’ve been pouring my heart into a project that I know is going to bless so many of you. I’m so excited to announce that my new book is coming soon!
This book is all about helping women—especially my fellow solo moms—learn how to love themselves again after experiencing relationship trauma. For those of you who aren’t aware, I experienced a pretty traumatic event last year with a man whom I just knew I would marry. And through my pain, I wanted to reach back and help as many women as possible.
Whether you’ve been through abuse, betrayal, or just lost yourself while giving your all to someone else, this is for YOU.
We’re diving into the hard stuff:
• Letting go of guilt and shame.
• Setting hard boundaries.
• And learning how to romance yourself.
This book isn’t just about healing—it’s about reclaiming your power and stepping into the life you deserve. I can’t wait to share more details soon, but just know this: it’s coming, and it’s going to be a game-changer.
Let’s Glow Together
If last year felt like a lot, trust me, I get it. But this year? This year, we’re giving ourselves permission to dream big, love hard (on ourselves, too), and live boldly.
So, let’s do this thing, okay? Let’s keep grinding, keep growing, and keep shining like the queens we are. And if you ever feel like the weight of the world is too much, just remember—you’ve got a tribe right here rooting for you.
Here’s to 2025, sis. Let’s make it unforgettable.
Stay true, stay blessed, & stay in love,
Tiera Nicole
