Before the texts start rolling in and the brunch invites (or lack thereof) start messing with your emotions, I need you to pause. Take a breath. Look in the mirror. And say these words out loud:
“I’m doing the best I can, and that is more than enough.”
Because it is. You are.
Mother’s Day can be a lot—especially when you’re doing this mama thing solo. It’s not always breakfast in bed, handmade cards, or folks lining up to sing your praises. Sometimes it’s wiping tears (your kids’ and your own), juggling bills, heating up leftovers, and hoping someone remembers to say, “Thank you.”
So honey, if no one else says it today, let me be the first:
THANK YOU💐
Thank you for showing up when you’re running on empty.💐
Thank you for loving through the loneliness.💐
Thank you for being the glue, the guide, the giver, and the grace.💐
I know this journey isn’t for the weak. There are days when you feel invisible, unappreciated, and straight-up exhausted. But what you’re doing? Raising little humans with love, intention, and resilience? That’s God’s work, mama.
So today, I want you to do a few things for you.
Not the chores. Not the errands. Not the 12 loads of laundry.
You.
• Grab your favorite treat without guilt.🩷
• Say “no” to anything that drains you.🩷
• Say “yes” to rest, joy, peace—even if just for 30 minutes.🩷
• Look at your life and celebrate how far you’ve come.🩷
Whether you’re surrounded by family or flying solo today, know this:
You are still worthy. Still powerful. Still that girl.
And listen—if today feels heavy, it’s okay. Some holidays hit different when you’re carrying the weight alone. But don’t forget:
You’ve got a tribe. You’ve got love. You’ve got you.
From one solo mama to another:
💐Happy Mother’s Day. You are seen. You are loved. And you are everything your babies need—plus some.
Now go ahead and give yourself those flowers, honey. You earned every single petal.
Love, light, and motherhood
Tiera Nicole
Happy Mothers day 💐🫶🏽
